Reporting bugs

Notes

• Before you report a bug, please search the list first, the issue may have been reported already

• Keep in mind that the developers must be able to reproduce the bug

• Try to keep the noise to the minimum when you reply to the list

  • Confirming only that you were able to reproduce the problem contributes nothing

  • Either provide additional data or help fix the problem

  • See also here

In the bug report, include

• Exact text that was printed out

• Patch if you have written one

• Anything else you think is relevant

• Steps to reproduce the bug

• Version information

Please try to provide additional details, if requested.

Send the report

• Use the “BUG” prefix when you post your report

• Post the report to the quvi-devel mailinglist
